Ruth Nemzoff, a mother of four and grandmother of six, is a researcher and resident scholar at the Women's Studies Research Center at Brandeis University. Her undergraduate studies at Columbia University were followed by graduate studies at Harvard and Wellesley and she has taught in a variety of situations from American universities to a government school in India. In addition to her book for popular audiences, Nemzoff has been published extensively in scholarly journals and is noted for her contributions to women's studies.
